National Care for Kids Day Logo Development

National Care for Kids Day was founded by Care for Kids in 2021, annually celebrated on September 20th by bringing communities, local businesses, and organizations together to uplift children and families in need. Built on the belief that concentrated effort can forge life-long change, awareness campaigns focus on donations, volunteering, and advocacy year-round. Acts of kindness on this day resonate beyond a moment. Whether it’s a warm coat, a meal, or school supplies, every contribution tells a child they are seen— and they’re not alone.

A nationwide movement needs a strong presence that goes beyond the screen. Online, Care for Kids can track donations, educate local leaders, and become a touchpoint for philanthropic involvement. Interminable print campaigns and apparel reminds communities they can make an impact every day. Promotional strategy prioritizes a recognizable and accessible visual identity, supported by a bold, uncompromising color palette and playful, geometric type. The gestalt icon  prompts audiences to reflect on those who need help most in their community, and what role they can play themselves. But the holistic objective for the National Care for Kids Day brand is to be known anywhere care can be found, engaged, and supported in people’s lives.
